Confession: I Am an Addict

You heard me. I have an addiction.  If you read my blog you may have figured it out by now. If you know me in real life, you probably have noticed. If you’re my boyfriend – you DEFINITELY are aware of it.

I am addicted to Subway. I could eat it every day.  At least I think I could. I’ve never tried… but I can tell you I WANT it every day.

Yes. My name is Jennifer and I am addicted to Subway (…hello Jennifer).

Today started out with a trip to the grocery store… here’s the goods

Whilst out at the grocery store I got a phone call… one I had hoped for. It was job #2 cancelling me for the day.  I also have not been given any shifts for the summer… as of right now, I have weekends off until at least the middle of August!  Woohoo!  (sorry bank account. I will budget, I promise).

I came home and had some late breakfast consisting of a weight watcher thin (1), banana (2) and cottage cheese (1)

I wasn’t so hungry for lunch, but I had a weight watcher pita (1) with some tzatziki (1) and some hummus (1)

I also snacked on some almonds (2) while I was cleaning

I didn’t feel hungry by dinner time… I kept cleaning (the dreaded tupperware cupboard).  Finally around 7:30 I decided I better eat… I wanted NOTHING but Subway.   I gave in and treated myself to my true food love… my turkey sub.  I was glad I got a footlong because by the time I got home I was famished.  I ate it all (12).

Check out the insane amount of pickles. Enough to likely make the average person vomit… but I love it

My treat today is courtesy of my mom… she brought me back at case from Chicago…

It satisfied the sweet tooth rather well.  Now, it’s back to water!

This week marks my journey to the gym.  I plan to take classes each day after work at 5:30. I won’t get home until 7pm or later (depending on if I go to Alex’s office).  There’s new plans in town… make dinner ahead of time so I can just reheat something when I get home. I’m used to eating dinner around 6:30 not 7:30.  Perhaps it will cut down on my late night desire to eat though.

Are you addicted to anything?  Subway perhaps?

Do you workout after work? If so… what do you do for dinner?

I’m off to do a bit more cooking for the week!

Happy week to all (so sad to see the weekend go).

If I am going to the gym to work out at say 6pm, I come home and rush to eat something that isn't going to have a lot of acid in it, don't want any heart burn. Otherwise if I am working out say running I go after dinner has settled or have a later dinner and run at 5pm

Just came across your blog and I LOVE it :)

I'm going to give the breakfast cake a try sometime this week!!

I am also going to hit up McEwans this weekend. We go by the store a few times a month and everytime we do I say "we need to check it out" but never do. After seeing the Chobani I'm definitely going in :)

Subway!!!! yum... I actually go there at least 2 times per week and get the turkey sub as well. I really need to start getting the smaller one instead of the darn footlong... Arggggg

I L.O.V.E Subway! I could eat a veggie delight or turkey sub for one of my meals daily! However the BF is not a huge fan :(
