Well… I ♥ Monday nights at least. I love when I come home on Monday night (after my late evening at the office) and we’ve gotten yet another Monday out of the way. I love my job and I love helping kids and their families… but does anyone else feel like each day they’re just putting in time until the weekend? Or each week you’re putting in time until your next vacation? Yeah… me either (ha).
When I last left you I was going to eat some lunch. I had some leftover pasta/tomato/chicken thing (4pts)
And some pineapple (1) with a sprinkle of blueberries (0). This combo always reminds me of Samantha on SATC. So many times they were eating breakfast at their little restaurant place and Samantha had pineapple and blueberries.
Snack at work was even more fruit. Watermelon and the end of the Ontario strawberries (2)
Dinner was a salad with spinach, tomato, red onion, cucumber and capers (0)… topped with 1/2c fat free cottage cheese (1) and 3 tbsp fat free italian (0). Holy Hannah Montana. That was one sweet salad. I will most definitely be having it again!
The salad was followed by pomegranate Chobani (3) and a PB Larabar (5)
When I got home I munched on a granola bar (3) and a spoonful of a little PB, little marshmallow fluff and a couple of chocolate chipits… it was my smores in a spoon (4). It satisfied my sweet tooth very nicely.
Today’s total points is 26. A little more than I would have liked, but it’s okay. I had flex points to spare. I also downed 3L of water… and now I’m having a diet ginger ale.
