Anyone else have food like this over the Super Bowl weekend?

Me too. 

I hit reset today & had this...

I admit to also having 3 chocolates today.  But that salad was divine! Romaine, cucumber, tomato, green olives, green chiles, turkey breast, cottage cheese & avocado dressing.  Very yummy. 

Time to do damage control before weigh in Wednesday!!  My new total loss (as of last week) is 9.6lbs!! 
My steps suck today because my stomach is upset from yesterday (is my guess). But I have been taking part in the SparkPeople challenge on Instagram (#2fit2quit) and today's challenge was to try new exercise for 10 minutes... So I tried Pilates.

It was weigh in day.  The results are favourable!

I skipped the smoothie today & instead had a flour less pancake.

I ended up with scrambled pancakes... But they tasted sooooo good (I added cinnamon & honey). 

With coffee...

Then a sandwich for lunch.

Light rye, hummus, tomato, cheese, & avocado

Then an afternoon snack. 

And finally... Dinner. 

Veggies, turkey meatloaf & mashed potatoes. 

Bedtime snack...

Also, I tried a "321 cake" (see Pinterest)

Not pictured... Some PC popped chips, & a Lindor chocolate. 

I worked hard to get in my steps today.  My goal is 5000.  I surpassed that!  I also managed a cardio session on the elliptical.

Now, it's time to put my feet up!!

Monday Eats

Let's start with Sunday dinner... 

It was teriyaki salmon, mushrooms & potatoes.  It was delicious. 

Today my baby boy let me sleep until 9!!!  We woke up & after his yogurt & pancakes I had my usual...

Gingerbread coffee & a green smoothie (spinach, apple, pineapple, chia seeds, coconut water & vega one nutritional shake. This is new to me... And it's delicious. 

So healthy!!

I managed some cardio during the first baby nap of the day... 

Elliptical & Days Of Our Lives. Perfect combo!


Not pictured: a salted caramel chocolate for afternoon snack.  But it's all accounted for in the My Fitness Pal diary!

Hello again!

Okay, so I'm working on finding a balance between family life & healthy lifestyle.  Blogging is something I want to do, but it's hard to make the time.  Once "hubby" is home in the evening we like to spend time together.  I guess blogging is something I will have to find time for during the day!

So this week I LOST 3LBS!  For a total of 4lbs. Yay! 

What I'm going to do is just leave you with some food pic highlights from life lately.  I've been working pretty hard to stay on track. 

Lunch today: sandwich with light rye, chicken breast, cheese, tomato, mustard & pickles.  Along with hummus & cucumber.  As well as PC pop chip things - spicy buffalo wing flavour. 

Santa Fe Salad from Boston Pizza! So yummy!!

Chicken taco soup over brown rice & topped with light marble cheese & light sour cream 

Holy crap... I love these!!

Carrot cake smoothie: Bolthouse Farms carrot juice, Banana, vanilla protein powder, cinnamon & ice.  Holy good!!

Avocado & Awesome

First things first... Weigh in Wednesday results!

Well, today can be summarized in one photo... 

I'm back in the saddle!!

The day started at 5am with a wake up call from this guy (the love of my life... Or one of them)

Luckily he went back to sleep until 6:45. 

We got up & I started my day with...

Warm lemon water

Gingerbread coffee!! Mmmm. Isn't my mug cute?

It was a gift from my BFF many years ago. 

A smoothie packed with Vit C. Spinach, mango, pineapple, banana, coconut water, ground flax seed, and a dash of orange juice.  Tart & delicious!

After some of this & that, it was lunch time.  After the baby was fed, I had the same as yesterday:
And it was even more delicious than yesterday. 

I managed a session on the elliptical during nap 2. 

And promptly had some water & chocolate chia pudding afterwards. 
Unsweetened vanilla almond breeze, chia seeds, cocoa & stevia. 

All in all, a great day so far.  Dinner will be documented tomorrow!
