Hello accomplished day number 2 (why do I hear Alex in my head giggling right now because I just said “number 2”?)

Wait. Should I backtrack to last night?  Inspired by Jaime's post full of confessions today, I feel the need to confess what happened last night. You see, I had been on my feet and cooking all day and didn’t eat a whole lot… but you would have thought my footlong sub for dinner would have satisfied me.  Nope. Went to bed early, but woke up at midnight STARVING.  What did I grab?  A kashi bar.  Long story short, I didn’t recognize when I was full, scarfed the bars down quickly… and ended up eating FIVE. Yep. FIVE.  Thank goodness for flex points.

This morning the scale did NOT appreciate the midnight binge last night.

Today found me starting week 2 of the Couch to 5K (after 1 week off). So far, so good. It felt great (for the most part) to be back at it.  Since I’m on a treadmill I definitely need something good on TV to cure my boredom.

Breakfast today was 1/2c homemade granola (2) and 1/2c unsweetened vanilla almond breeze along with 1/2 weight watcher bagel (1), 1tbsp light cream cheese (1) and 1 tbsp Crofter’s Asia (1)

Lunch was a portabello burger (3) in lettuce wraps (0) with some stir fry in low sodium soy sauce (1). Might not look like much, but it was quite tasty! I could have eaten twice as much!

It was followed by 1/2c greek Liberte (1), 1/4c Coconut Liberte (2) with a few sprinkles of coconut added for garnish (0)

Snack was some mango and blueberries (2)… they were still frozen in this picture!


Dinner was some veggie soup (0) and turkey breast (2)

(I was wrong yesterday saying the turkey I portioned out was 1pt… It’s 2pts!  Jury is still out on the soup. Turns out I’m still not really a cabbage fan… but I’ll keep trying!)

Dinner also consisted of veggies with 2tbsp supremely spicy hummus (2) and cucumbers

I got home from work, made breakfast, lunch and snacks for tomorrow, did the dishes and proofread an essay for the baby sister. It’s now 10:10pm. I was SO close to getting to bed by 10pm like I had planned.  Maybe next week!

Chicklet is frustrated that I’m not in bed yet too…

Your food looks delicious!
If I ever feel hungry after dinner I just read a book or surf the internet - I just suppress the urge to go to the kitchen and dream about breakfast waiting for me when I wake up:)
