The weekend has flown by. Not surprisingly! Yesterday was some lounging and then out for sushi with Tara and her husband. What a great night!
Sadly, today did (also) not include any exercise… for no real good reasons!
At least I’m back to tracking my food (in a tracker and all). I also signed up for the x-weighted challenge. There’s some great prizes to be won! Unfortunately I’m not brave enough to post my weight and measurements!
Here’s some food from the weekend (no sushi photos unfortunately!)
Lunch dessert: banana bread Larabar with a smidge of natural PB on top! Yummy!
Tara was so sweet last night… she brought me a gift! First up – a mug which totally suits me!! I LOVE IT!!!
Also… TEA!!! Icewine tea mango green tea and strawberry green tea!
It was really good. Perfectly sweet on its own. I loved it! It was really cool to see the dry leaves expand after the tea had steeped. I thought it was pretty and warranted a photo. What do you think?
I also tried the icewine tea. It wasn’t as sweet as the strawberry tea… but still sweet enough for me to not have to add anything to it!
I’ve done cleaning and grocery shopping. I’m currently making meals for the week… because last week I got sick of cooking after a few days. I’ve got quinoa cooked, chicken breasts steamed, eggs hard-boiling… some tins of Amy’s soup, some black beans, some salsa, some veggies… I see healthy meals in my future this week!
I’m proud to say I ate totally ‘clean’ this weekend (aside from white rice in the sushi. mmmm… Sushi. I could eat more of it already!).
Happy Monday! Tomorrow I WILL jog. Mark my word! I should get to bed now so I can get up early (too bad I’m still cooking!).
