Hey again!

Hey everyone!

It’s been a while since I posted!  I don’t have any good reason for not posting.  Really it’s been a lack of things to post on and a lack of healthy food to blog about.

I met up with my cousin for lunch yesterday. She has done Bernstein’s diet numerous times.  She started at it again in January and is down 60lbs.  She told me she eats no more than 800 calories a day.  The only carbs she eats is melba toast.  She really eats mostly fruits, vegetables, tuna and chicken.  I immediately was jealous of her success, but I realized I could never live that life.  She knows a crash diet is not healthy and she knows she’ll gain weight again.

So while I’m not going to the extreme my cousin is, she did manage to inspire me.  Today, all healthy eats (see My Fitness Pal for my food diary).

And… some back yard photos.  I’m learning what shrubs and flowers I have and planning on adding a flower bed and more flowers.  We’re also working on getting our grass in shape!

Lynn, My back yard is not great... I've got my work cut out for me. I'll post pictures as I develop my green thumb this summer!
