Oh yes friends... Biggest Loser is BACK! I'm just settling into the couch with a pillow and a blanket to watch it. I'm so happy!!!
Today started out with a lovely jog... followed by going to work, a lunch time walk at work, and then back home. Dinner has been eaten, tomorrow's lunch has been made, and all dishes have been washed. I'm sooooo ready to relax and enjoy Biggest Loser. I may even enjoy the last hour of it in bed.
Here's what I ate today...
Breakfast: 1/2c kashi honey puff cereal (1), 1/2c kashi shredded wheat cereal (1), 1/2c skim milk (1)... sprinkled with cinnamon
Snack: green smoothie... let's recap what I put in that smoothie, just for fun. We have 1c frozen mixed fruit (1), 1 container yogurt (1), 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder (1), 1/4 frozen banana (0), 1/2 scoop chocolate amazing grass (0), sprinkles of hulled hemp seeds and chia seeds (0) - do you think I pack enough into that shake? Oh... and can't forget the spinach!!!
Lunch: 1/2c quinoa (2), steamed turkey breast (3), mixed frozen veggies (0)... apple with cinnamon (1), yogurt (1)
Snack: chocolate chip clif bar (5)
Dinner: egg (2), egg whites (0), mixed veggies (0), tomato (0)
Total: 20
Water: 4L
Tonight's food porn...
I have come to LOVE my apples and cinnamon.... which comes in handy as we enter apple season. I use my apple cutter to cut the apple (apple cutter = GREAT, cheap investment). I put the cut apple into a container and sprinkle TONS of cinnamon on... then shake it up to coat the apples. I'm able to cut the apple the night before and store it in the fridge... and they're kept crispy with the cinnamon on them!!!
I will leave you with a quote I found online and thought it was cute (click to enlarge I think)... It's cute... but Alex and I both still love our sleep!!!
