Another Wednesday Gone By

First... My results from today's weigh in:


 Today started out with an epic smoothie:

In the blender goes: spinach, banana, green apple, pineapple, oats, ground flaxseed, egg whites & coconut water. 
 
Today's coffee was meh:


 
Lunch was yummy:

Toast with avocado, cheese & tomato. 

Greek yogurt (chocolate & vanilla):

 
 

Dinner was chili.  No picture.

So, we have exactly 5 weeks until Christmas.  My goal to lose 25lbs by then may not be realistic. We're looking at over 4lbs a week. Instead, my goal is now to eat mostly clean & exercise 30 min at least 5 times a week. I'll just lose as much weight as I can!

The Results

Well, the results were not in my favour today.  



 It's okay.  Onward & upward. 

Today started out with a smoothie again. 


It had banana, peach, mango, strawberry, cucumber, chia seeds & coconut water.  It was yummy. 

When I finally got to lunch it was toast with spicy avocado dressing, tomato & cheese.  With baby carrots & tzatziki on the side.  Delicious!


Dinner was leftovers from yesterday. 

What wasn't pictured was the 2 little rolls I snacked on as well as the kettles chips & OMGs I consumed!  But... They were small portions at least!

Mission: Accomplished

I reached 5000 steps today!  Goal accomplished!

I didn't actually exercise.  These steps were from being busy all day & not having a chance to sit down. 

Today started out with a yummy smoothie. 


 It has pineapple, banana, green apple, spinach, coconut water & chia seeds.  It was so very yummy. 

I didn't take time for lunch today.  I ate 2 little white dinner rolls in between making baby food & doing laundry.  

Dinner was a Pinterest recipe.  Loaded baked potato casserole.  It was just okay.  It's pretty bland.  I made some Asian salad on the side. 


I'm ready to call it a night.  Wish me luck for weigh in tomorrow!

Weekend Gone By

You know what I did today:

•cleaned the basement
•shopped for a new kitchen table
•had my first steaming hot bath in a year
•slept in
•cuddled with my baby boy

I didn't cook all weekend. We had leftover coconut chicken curry that I made Friday.


I bought a couple of new k cups this weekend.  And I love them!!


Overall, I've been making healthier choices and managing to stay away from sweets.  Last night was an exception.  I had light vanilla ice cream & made my own crackle sauce with melted coconut oil & some chocolate chips.  Holy moly was it good! Unfortunately I don't appear to have taken a photo!

I think this week's goal will be to get my water in every day.  And get my step count up to 5000.  As of now I'm only getting in about 2500 a day!!

What I Ate Today

The smoothie returned!  Hooray!!

It was pineapple, banana, green apple, spinach & coconut water.  And it rocked my world. 

Lunch and dinner were the same as yesterday.  


 


 The only thing different was the salt & vinegar roasted almonds I made!

I confess.  There were also a few skittles.  But only a few!

Happy Thursday!  Anyone have weekend plans they care to share?  We are having our first quiet weekend since the baby arrived in May!! Woohoo!!

Good Day

Today started out with cofffeeeee (this time change is killing me). 


 After that I had a bowl of oatmeal with apples, PB & cinnamon. 

Lunch was a bed of romaine topped with lentil loaf & mmmm sauce!



 Dinner was pasta with sauce (made from scratch!)

 

Tomorrow is weigh in day!  Wish me luck!!

Oops

You know when I don't blog that I've fallen off the wagon for one reason or another.  The good news is that I'm back!

This is short because it's late & the baby is sleeping... Therefore I should be as well!
